Some past exciting news that we have had!!

Gift and Cards

First I will mention the Teapot and cards that some fans sent Sarah, We got Sarah a personalised teapot and gathered a load of Good Luck messages and put them in cards! She loved them and was kind enough to take some pictures of her with them and write a little message for us and it was posted on her Facebook Appreciation Group(http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=13325418137)

The message...

"To all the Larkabouts,

As you can see from the photos, I have recieved your amazing gifts. I am completely gob-smacked and thrilled with your thoughtfulness. They have pride of place in my home.I am so touched to have my own personalised Teapot to remind me of my Nancy experience and of the support you have all given me. Thank you again for all your kind words in the cards and the amazing amount of chocolate!!! (Which I have already started eating!!)Again, HUGE thanks. I will keep you all posted with future news.

Questions answered by Sarah

1. Which week do you think was your best on I'd Do Anything?

I'm going to mention 2 very special shows.Firstly Week One, the euphoria in the studio was the most amazing experience I have ever had on a stage...As all 12 Nancy's stepped on stage it was the culmination of such an intense audition process and it felt like no matter what happened this was a moment I will never forget or experience again, I cried tears of joy.. I'm such a girl!

Secondly Week Four, when I sang Midnight Train To Georgia. That was my favourite song. It was also the week I had changed my image, going back to Brunette and wearing a completely different kind of solo outfit! It was also the week of the Wicked mission, which was the most amazing experience.

2. If you could play any role in a musical production, who would you like to play and why?

Because I'm listening to it a lot at the moment (right now actually!) it would be Florence in Chess. It's such a strong female character and the songs would just be a dream to sing on a stage.

3. Who would you have your dream snog with?

I'm going to have to say Joshua Jackson (Pacey from Dawsons Creek) He was doing a play in London a couple of years ago; I saw it and wanted to wait at stage door but was too shy!

4. Is Musical Theatre your first love? What else would you like to branch out into (absolutely straight acting, presenting etc.)?

Musical Theatre is absolutely my first love. I was bitten by the bug at 11 and 14 years later still love every second. I would love to branch out into other entertainment genres, straight acting would indeed be something on my " to do" list if possible.

From doing IDA, I really fell in love with working with the cameras, so film or TV would be amazing... but luckily IDA combined all the genres of entertainment with live interviews, performing to both camera and studio, and also had instant connection to the audience.

5. Who is your dream leading man?

No question... Hugh Jackman, what a talented man, his voice is amazing, he is fantastic on screen and live and he seems like the loveliest man in interviews... height might be a problem though...haha!

6. Who was your favourite judge?

What a difficult question. I'm going to say they were all lovely!

7. What was the funniest moment in the Nancy house?

Well, my funniest moment was actually an event that was never mentioned on the show, so it's exclusive to you!…It was week one in the Nancy house…(said in comedy big brother style) and Sam and Niamh came running down the stairs to reveal we had a ladybird infestation so that we all had to sleep downstairs on the sofas, it was a comedy day!

8. Do you have any advice on how to be as amazingly wonderful as you are? hehe.

Well, what a lovely question, I don't know what to say. I don't think I'm qualified to give advice but my motto in life is 'Live, love, laugh and Be Happy'. I am a positive thinker and believe everything happens for a reason. This experience has shown me that anything is possible… dream big and give everything 200%! You never know until you try and the harder you work the greater the reward! (hope that's what you meant?!)

9. How did you decide you wanted to be a performer and what was your first show?

When I was 11, I was watching the Royal Variety Performance and I turned to my Mam and said I'd like to do that, so I started coming up to a summer school… and haven't stopped since! My first job was at 11. We saw an advert in our local paper for Panto in the New Theatre Cardiff, so my Dad and I queued up …(sounds familiar of a recent situation!!!) and I was offered one of the Babes in Babes in the Wood! My Dad and I were shell shocked!

10. If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be?

Right now it would be somewhere hot with a beach, however I have never been to New York and would love to go and see shows on Broadway!

11. What would you do with a million pounds?

I think I'd faint first! Secondly, I would buy all my family houses, then go down to Great Ormond St Hospital and give a large donation, put on a HUGE West end Fundraiser for a Cancer Charity…then at the end of the day, if I have anything left… buy driving lessons, and take all my family and friends away for a holiday!Wow what a busy day!

12. Which 3 items would you take to a desert island?

My Family
Chocolate
And of course my teapot!!!

13. Who is your favourite performer?

In musical theatre I would have to say the wonderful Kerry Ellis. Working with her on the Wicked task was amazing. Another Musical theatre performer who I look up to is Anna Jane Casey, she is such a phenomenal all rounder! At the moment one of my favourite Actresses is the wonderful Felicity Huffman (From Desperate Housewives... my fave American sitcom at the mo!)

14. Your favourite meal?

I absolutely adore Paella! With a chocolate fudge cake for dessert! I'm Hungry now!

15. What is your favourite musical?

I just got re addicted to Chess, having seen it recently with the fantastic Idina Menzel, Josh Groban and Kerry Ellis. The score is so beautiful and moving!

16. If you weren't performing what career would you have chosen and why?

Another difficult one as I've only ever wanted to perform! Maybe work in a chocolate factory!!!

17. Have you got anything lined up for the future?

I have been so busy since leaving the Nancy Bubble, I've had lovely auditions and meetings, I feel like a very lucky girl. You all will be the first to know when I am next performing. In the near future I am very busy, as I can exclusively reveal I'm doing all the I'd Do Anything events around the country, which is so exciting to see new places and meet people who have supported the show.

18. Do you realise that a majority of your online fan base is made up of nutters? haha. Oh and what do you think of the name SpLARKles?

I am incredibly flattered to have any fans at all! And thank you all the support and messages!I do like the name SpLARKles but I have a soft spot for the name Larkabouts as I do love to lark about a bit!!!Again thank you for these questions and everything!

All the Best to all
