'Snappy Title: From the heart' is a night of songs of love from new musicals performed by West End stars and Sarah will be performing - it's on the 21st of February 2010 at the Pigalle club in London.

Sarah Invited to perform at the concert "From Broadway to West End - by Special Arrangement"

Hello! This is amazing..

Sarah has been invited to perform 'As Long As He Needs Me' accompanied by a 40-piece orchestra, at the concert "From Broadway to West End - by Special Arrangement" at Theatre Royal Drury Lane on Sunday 4th October!

The concert is a tribute to the work of Tony Award-winning orchestrator William David Brohn and will raise money for the children's cancer charity CLIC Sargent!

Hello everyone!

Hey Everyone, from comments ive read online it seems both of Sarah's show's playing Nancy went very well! Gutted I haven't been to see Sarah in Oliver yet - not amused!

Will be nearly a year soon that Sarah has been in Oliver - I think she deserves to be Nancy now - throw Jodie down a well! Ok I am only joking lol..

Remember you can buy the new CD for new musical Bluebird @ Dress Circle - which of course features the voice of the Lark!

Sarah will be on as Nancy on the following dates..

Hello, Sarah will be on as Nancy on Monday the 14th of September and the matinee performance on Saturday the 19th of September!

Also Sarah features on the album for new musical Bluebird alongside Ramin Kirimloo and Abi Finley. Which will be released for sale from Dress Circle on the 14th of September!

Well I can't wait! :)

Sarah got to play the role of Nancy for the first time last night!

YAY Sarah got to play Nancy for the first time last night at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, which is just amazing! Ive read one comment on What's On Stage that she was amazing and her voice was incredible but ive not came across a proper review, if I do I will be sure to put it up!

First of all sorry I haven't posted for ages had trouble signing in and all sorts! grr.

Theatregoers Choice Awards 2009 Concert + Poll Results..

Hello everyone, aren't the videos in the below post just fab! Sorry im still rather excited about those..lol. Anyway I just want to let you know about a special concert Sarah will be performing at alongside fellow Nancies Samantha Barks and Jodie Prenger, aswell as many other amazing performers.

It's the Theatregoer's Choice Awards 2009 held at the Prince Of Wales Theatre, London,on the 15th of February. There will be trophy presentations to selected winners and performances from some of the West End's finest talent...so not to be missed im sure!

First of all thanks to everyone who voted in the poll and I shall now reveal the winner, which is no surprise to me and probably no surprise to many of you. The winner of the 'Which Role would you most like to see Sarah play?' poll is..

The Good Witch of the North, Glinda from the hit musical Wicked! The role of Glinda recieved 30 votes in our poll! Just amazing - I really do think Sarah is perfect for this role.

In joint 2nd place was the loveable all dancing all singing Tracy Turnblad from the musical Hairspray and girlfriend to evil Bill Sikes and motherly figure to Oliver, Nancy in Oliver!(Which we may get to see - very soon!)They both recieved 22 votes.

In 3rd place not far behind with 20 votes was the lovely nanny Mary Poppins! Aw she would be just great I think!

Update on the other IDA girls!

I know this is a Sarah Lark blog but it's always nice to mention a little about the others, so I thought id post about what they are up to just now.



Rachel Tucker is currently in 'We Will Rock You' as Meat and has recently done a number of dates as Scaramouche which ive read in many reviews she was outstanding. If you want to catch Rachel as Scaramouche she will be playing that role again from the 1st till the 3rd of December. Also you can read some amazing fan reviews with pictures on the Rachel Tucker Fan Blog


Jessie Buckley has recently just had her first opening night in a show 'A Little Night Music' playing the role 'Anne' on the 22nd of this month at the Menier Chocolate Factory. The show will run until the 8th of March 2009. A few of Jessie's fans have already been to see it and thought she was wonderful in the role. Francesca Jackson is currently playing the role of 'Lucy' in the new Musical 'Can't Smile Without You' which is playing in Darlington at the Civic Theatre. The tour will finish there on the 29th of November. For many fab reviews etc you can check out the Francesca Jackson Fan Blog

Also ive added a poll at the side 'Which role would you most like to see Sarah play?' it be great if everyone could vote. Oliver!

As most reading this will know Sarah has been cast as a Street Seller/Understudy Nancy in the new production of Oliver! from 12th December 2008 at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. Which I believe Sarah will cover both Jodie Prenger and Tamsin Carroll if they are sick and cannot perform.

Also I thought I would post the link to the official website for Oliver, which gives all the information you will need to buy tickets etc.

Remember the I'd Do Anything talent show finalist, Sarah Lark?

Well, despite not winning the show, she could still fulfil her dream of playing Nancy in the West End.

Sarah's won a role as one of the street sellers in Who Will Buy in Oliver!

Better still, she'll cover Nancy if Jodie Prenger or Aussie Tamsin Carroll are sick.

Let's hope she gets the big gig for at least one night so her dreams still come true...

We all know Sarah will make a wonderful Nancy! :)
